We are an insurance agency with insurance company's applications on our web site. Most of the .pdf applications do not allow for fill in online, but rather they have to be printed and completed by hand.
I am sure there must be a command in version 8 professional to convert it to a user friendly fill in form.

You are most likely viewing your PDF file using Adobe Reader. The PDF file itself is just a 'drawing' or graphic of an input form, that is, it really doesn't know what areas of the form would be fillable. The only way to make it fillable is to purchase Adobe Acrobat which will let you place input boxes on the PDF. Then you can fill it out simply using Reader. Then you will also will probably want to save/load your data so you don't have to type it in again or have to enter it all in one sitting.

I automate PDF forms if you are interested.
