I have several forms in a folder, I was testing one of the forms, double clicked a field and a drop down menu opened. Is it possible that the form is picking up information form other forms that use the same field name? If so can I turn this option off or will I have to rename the fields?

Hi Bobht,

There is no ad-hoc data sharing between forms. What type of properties are associated with this form field?

Hi Lori,
Default Text, Date, Phone numbers; date and phone are formatted as date & phone number. What I'm finding that if I enter a some fields I'm getting a dropdown at the point of entry with various entry options, i.e. (2591-A, 10:17, This one). These and others are all entries that were made on other forms and the dropdown doesn't happen with all fields in a form.
You can select some of the dropdowns and others you can not.

Anyway, thanks for your time if you would to see a sample you can go to:
http://www.ladhs.org/ems/HICS/HICS_Index.htm and try any of the forms.

Thanks for you help,

Hi Lori,
I just finished creating a new form. Originally the layout was done in Visio, I created the PDF version and added fields using the form tools. While testing the form I found several fields that offered a drop down box that I could choose my imput from or complete it myself. If you would like to see an example of this I've done a screen dump and printed the files as PDF's.
Thanks for your help.
