Hi, all,

Generally, the Acrobat X form is quite new for me. I am wondering whether we can use the X form for document management purpose with following rough idea:

(1) Design a form with fields as followed:
-Client Number
-Client Passport Number
-Supporting Document (need to attached in the X Form)
(2) Save the X Form in windows XP folder.
(3) Search the X form with the key fields defined in step (1).

So, the questions will be
a. whether the X form can attached document like TIF image files or others, any limitation on the file size?
b. whether any tools can be faciliate the searching in step (3), using the fields defined in step (1)?

Looking for your reply.

1. Yes. You can attach files to a PDF (open the Attachments panel and click Add). The file limit is the same as for any other file on your OS.
2. Yes, that's possible. If you have Acrobat Pro then you can write a script that will search files for a specific field with specific content. Is that what you mean, more or less? If you only want to search in a single file, then you don't even need the Pro version.
