No submit button on purple bar

I've created a form on Adobe 9 Pro and I've distributed the form. Other people can see the purple bar and hit the submit button, but I can't see the purple bar with the submit button. How do I get the purple bar and the submit button to show on my computer? I would like to see this because I want to be able to test it, and be able to fill out other forms that people have sent me.

My Product Information:
Reader 9.2, Windows

Under the Document > Properties menu, if you select the Security tab do you see any document restrictions?

I don't see where you are talking about. When I click on the Document menu, there isn't a "Security" option. The only thing close that I see is Advanced/Security/Show Security Properties. Under the security tab, on "Security Method", it says, "No security".

I wanted to add that in Adobe 9 Pro, I don't get the purple document message bar at all, but in Reader 9 I do get the bar, but with no submit button.

No, because we have it on our intranet. I can send a file for you to look at.

How do I attach the file to the email? When I click on the email link, it brings up a form and there isn't a way to attach files.

Just send me a message first and then attach it to my reply.

Make sure the message bar is turned on Edit > Preferences > Forms category uncheck "Always hide forms document message bar".

If this is a customized install package of Acrobat, you'll probably want to check with your IT folks to make sure they haven't disabled this capability.

I'm having this same issue. I have created a form, distributed it to all the users in the company. Some people are able to see the document message bar does not appear while others are not. I have noticed that the main. Members of both groups of users are using the same reader version, the pdf is a reader extended document. On one of my own systems I was able to see this bar, then suddenly I was not, on the same form.

The main difference that I can see between the systems that can see the document message bar and those that cannot is that in those that cannot the Edit > Preferences > Forms "Always hide forms document message bar" option is disabled (greyed out) so it cannot be checked or unchecked, but it is unchecked already. Please help, I cannot find the solution anywhere. Most end users have version 9 of the Adobe Reader, I used Acrobat X Pro.Chuck
