Operation is not permitted

I have created a form that contains a print button, reset form button, email button and 4-5 fallible fields in Acrobat Pro 8. When I create the form for distribution and test the form opening it, I get three different "This operation is not permitted" messages. The form seems to work fine otherwise.

Where do you start looking at something like this? Logs?

Are you testing the form opening with Reader? Is it your intention to have users save the form or just email you back the data? Usually this error is associated form field properties where you have selected "PDF The Complete Document" under the Submit Form Selection (mailto:). If you need to have users same the form locally, then you'll need to Reader-enable (under the Advanced menu in Acrobat 8 Pro.) the form first.

This error message is frequently associated with PDFs that do not have fonts embedded, then when the file is reader-enabled and the recipients open the PDF, the error message appears.
Try going back to the original PDF and make sure all the fonts are embedded in the document before adding the form fields.
