All of a sudden, whenever I open a PDF in Acrobat 8 it appears for about 5 seconds then goes to a grey blank screen. I can open the same pdf with Reader an it works fine. This happens to ALL pdf's I try to open.
Any help would be appreciated !

I will try that... It's worked fine for over a year with no problems. It's very hard for me to believe it's the install. I'll let you know. Rod

I did a "repair", no change.... but now I noticed the real problem is this:
When I run Acrobat 8 pro, the program comes up and then in 5-7 seconds it closes. So my problem is with Acrobat 8, not the fact that I can't open a PDF.
I'll look into it. Any other suggestions???

Could be a plug-in, a print driver, or some other piece of software you've installed recently. Could even be an Acrobat update.
