PDF form fields printing blank

I have searched the forums and don't seem to have come across an answer.

I have a pdf form that was created in LiveCycle. The form has been filled out. When I go to print it, it does not print the fields that have been filled out and prints a blank form (with the strange exception of one field that does print and is the only one that has content larger than the viewing area).

When I choose to print "Document and Markups" it prints a blank form.

When I choose to print "Form Fields Only" it DOES print the filled out fields.

How can I get it to print the entire form + filled out fields???

thanks for any suggestions.
I am reading it with Adobe Acrobat 8

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0, Windows

May it be that the binding of your fields is not set to "Normal"?

Can you explain what "binding of your fields" means and how to set it to normal?

I just opened the form in LiveCycle and the fields and the default binding is all set to "normal"

For anyone coming to this thread from Google, I found a solution from the bottom of this thread:
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/392710?tstart=0

I had to change the "Font Size" for the fields. Even though the font size was already "12", changing it to something else and then back to 12 fixed it.

I created a text form field that requires a large amount of text input. It scrolls on entry and shows up when viewing it. But when it is printed it only prints the amount that is shows up in the text box. How can I have it output the entire entry?

Your issue is caused by a well known problem caused by the use of MacIntosh's "Preview" application, no other product is known to cause this issue. You can use Script to Fix Mac OSX Preview.app Form Fill and Save by Joel Geraci. It will add a menu option, but you can also have it create a tool bar button.

I have created an interactive PDF on Acrobat 9 Pro on Windows where it works fine - but it won't save, print or send on Mac Adove Reader 9 - what to do? (my sincere apologies if this is a real old question - I could not get help anywhere here ...)

Only Adobe Acrobat, not Adobe Reader or MacIntosh Preview, can can save a PDF form. For Adobe Reader or MacIntosh Preview to save and return a form by email, the form needs to have special 'Extended Reader Rights' applied to the form.

See the FAQs for more information.

Preview will happily save a PDF form, whether it has been Reader-enabled or not. But it will also corrupt it in a number of ways in the process. Non-Adobe viewers are free to do whatever they want, regardless of usage rights.

I HAVE THE PROPER SOLUTION!

I was having a problem with a PDF form that was filled with information, but not printing that information. I found another PDF form that did print information that was inside the form fields and compared the two forms in Acrobat 9 to find the solution. My goal was to make my PDF form savable AND printable. After opening your PDF form in Acrobat follow the steps below.

1. Click on Forms > Add or Edit Fields *
2. Click on Edit > Select All.
3. Right click on one of the form fields and click on Properties
4. Click on the General tab (default tab)
5. Under Common Properties, change the Form Field drop down to Visible
6. Click Close
7. Click on Close Form Editing
8. Save

* Note - You may be prompted to "Save as Copy" due to Extended Features, such as making your form savable via Abobe Reader. If so, go ahead and "Save as Copy," close the PDF, and start this process over using the copy. After you are done with the process above, then enable your Extended Features and Save.
