Enable Adobe Reader Usage Rights for the form in Acrobat 8.0. That message will display no matter what you do but without the restiction on saving the form if you enable Reader.

Sorry. I forgot you are using Acrobat 6. Enabling Reader Extensions is not available in version 6. Here are your options:

(1.) go to the Adobe web site and search for Adobe Reader Extensions and purchase a license for your form.

(2.) Upgrade version Acrobat 6 to version 8. This option is located under Advanced tab, Enable Reader Usage Rights.

(3. Go to www.formrouter.com and purchase a license for this option. Read all of the information related to PDF forms before you make a decision. I think they are cheaper than Adobe.

(4.) Find someone who has Acrobat 8 and have your form converted to version 8 then Enable Reader Usage Rights.

I have created a editable PDF using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 and posted it to my website. I am using the designed PDF as an application form which other users can view it on my website and edit it and submit using the Submit button provided inside the PDF.

If the user has only Adobe Reader installed on his machine, it is showing a message in a puple bar "Please fill out the following form. You cannot save data typed into this form. ...".

As per your suggestion, I enabled User rights for Adobe Reader and posted the PDF. Now the PDF is not editable as it was earlier. Many text fields added are not able to edit.

Apart from it, the user is getting an alert pop-up saying "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended feature is no longer available. ...". This is very annoying for the users.

I read in another loop that it is due to the difference in time-zone, but I tried testing it in the same time-zone and still got the same alert pop-up.

I want to either change or remove the "You cannot save data typed into this form" message as it is confusing the users.

Could please help me to resolve this?
