pdf/fdf merge on apache server

I have created a pdf with input fields. I have also created an fdf file via php from html. How can I merge server side on my apache webserver on AS 400? Will fdftoolkit be compatible? Merging pdf and fdf manually works great but I would like to serve a finished pdf to website, merge taking place behind the scenes.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0, Unix/Linux

Adobe's FDF Toolkit will create compatible FDFs, but it doesn't help with merging server-side. You should look into Appligent's FDFMerge or FDFMerge Lite at http://www.appligent.com/fdfmerge
