Hi all -

I have created a form in Acrobat 8 Pro. It is an order form that allows the end user to fill in their mailing address to customize a postcard. This is then submitted directly to a printer for printing.

The form itself is all set for printing, but the fields the end user fills in is in RBG. Is there a way to have the fields be in CMYK, or more specifically K? When the printer gets the files the text the end user filled in is being translated to rich-black (since it converts it from RGB). I need it to be 100% K.

If anyone could help, that would be great.

Thanks
chris

The printer should check the "Preserve black" checkbox, in the Convert color dialog box (Acrobat 8+).
This will convert black RGB to K plate only, not to CMYK.
