I work for an energy conservation company. Being a “green” company we have strived to move our many forms to a digital format using Adobe Acrobat and extending use to Acrobat Reader. I’ve recently run into a problem with fulfilling a request for 2 HR forms, a “Performance Improvement Plan” & a “Corrective Action Notice” form.
The problem is this: HR is concerned that all the information on the PDF is not visible when viewed or printed. Only a plus sign is visible indicating there is additional information contained in the form field. The type in the box is set for Multi-line, scrolling in the form and set for 8pt. and the info boxes are large. Unfortunately the amount of information that needs to be recorded varies greatly, it may range from two paragraphs or two pages.
Has anyone else run into a similar problem? How does everyone else create their electronic forms? Is there anyway to have a scalable PDF form where all the information can be viewed and/or printed at one time? Am I missing a feature or function? I work on a mac and use Acrobat CS4, but can run XP on my machine and use a copy of LiveCycle Form Designer if necessary. Is there a better method or piece of software to create such forms.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
LiveCycle forms are based on the XML content format, and that format can support dynamic forms.
