Pro 8 vs Pro 8.1

I have version 8.1 - the company I am working with to create forms has 8.0. They have had a problem with the start menu. Click on Pro 8 and Reader 8 opens. They had to uninstall to solve the problem. Were there significant bugs in 8 that they should upgrade to 8.1 The company is very large so upgrading is not a simple task. I am new to this version so I don't know what some of the negative issues were with 8. Is there a previous topic that answers the question without have to spend a long time reading through it? TIA

I would definitely recommend updating to Reader 8.1. The issue with Pro/Reader just has to do with having both programs on the same system and what order older/newer programs were installed/uninstalled. Check out these links for further details:
