Problems with Distributing Form

Hello,

New user here, but do have good knowledge computers. I bought Adobe 9 pro just so I can create forms and now I am running into problems.

Intentions:

I have a fillable PDF form that I want to distribute to my co-workers for them to fill out and send me when they need work done. I want them to have the blank form saved on their desktop and they can open it, fill it out and press submit by email button that is on the form and it go directly to my email address.

What I have done so far:

I have created the form and saved it. I created the submit by email button on the form and it is attached to my email address. I have saved it to my desktop. I then ran a test by sending it to a co-worker by email. She filled it out and pressed the button. It asked her for her email addy and name, but it never arrived in my email. I also tested with two other co-workers and the same result. I tried opening myself and emailing a form and it worked. I then tried the distribute button in Adobe. It asked for the addy and then I pressed send. It started to go and then says it failed to send form and then another popup saying action was aborted. I do not have the ability to save to our website.

Any Help???

Thank you in advance!

This is kind of odd. I am having the same problem but in reverse. I can get some of my users to submit the PDF if they are on Reader or Standard, but none of the users i have in Pro (all Acro 9.0) can get it to work, the purple document message bar doesnt even show up in Pro, and i cant get it to work for myself either (Acro Pro 9.0). I have recreated several forms in AcroForm and in Live Cycle and still have the same problems.

I have been searching forums and knowledge centers for 6 weeks now and have had no luck. What i have learned is that these functions worked perfectly fine in 8.0, but not 9.0, and they also work perfectly fine if i distribute from a Mac and not a PC.

Not trying to hijack your post, just thought it was interesting.
