Problems submitting forms from users at large organisations

Hi

I've developed a booking form, using Acrobat's form tools and have tested it by sending it out to a batch of friends who work at companies of varying sizes. In the main the forms could be completed and submitted successfully (as an attachment of the full PDF).

However a friend at the NHS and another at the Department for Work and Pensions both had problems and neither were able to 'Submit' the form once they had filled it in. As a work around I asked if they were able to save the completed form to their computers and then email as an attachment, but while it let them save the PDF it didn't retain the info they'd typed in.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get around this and guarantee that forms will work on any system running Acrobat Reader? I ideally want to submit the entire PDF to an email attachment.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

It was probably blocked by their organization's firewall. I don't think there's much to be done about it, except asking the IT dept. in those organizations to enable it, or using email.
