Reader Enabling not working in Acrobat 9 Standard

Hi there,

I have created a form using the form wizard in Acrobat 9 Standard and have included an email button, but when I follow the directions to now make the form reader-enabled the "Extend Forms Fill-in & Save in Adobe Reader" under "Advanced"(i.e., Advanced> Extend Forms Fill-in & Save in Adobe Reader) is grayed out (i.e., I click on it and nothing happens).

Any ideas?

So since posting this message I have found that if I add and edit my fields in the document, then save it and close it, then I can then re-open it, save it as a new document and reader-enable it according to the instructions above.

Does this seem strange to anyone else?
