Removing submission pop up messages in Pro version 9

Hi,

Could anyone advise me if there is a way to remove all of the automatic form submission messages that tell the end user what to do with the pdf form after completion. e.g outgoing message notification and select email client and associated blurb when sending a pdf form manually.

Whilst these messages are helpful to the majority of users, I have been told that they may be too confusing for some of our users and would just like them to hit submit and for the form to be sent. Our mailbox is then set-up to send a thank you reply.

Any guidance appreciated.

Many thanks

Alan

If you are using a Microsoft .net web server, then check out PDFEmail.net:
http://www.pdfemail.net/

PDFEmail.net generates scripts to send PDF form submissions without 3rd party e-mail client-software such as Outlook.

The end-users just clicks the PDF form submit button, and the PDFEmail.net script lets the user know if the e-mail was sent or not.

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your reply.

It looks an intersting solution, but I feel that there must be away to adjust the messages in the software. Of course i might need a developer version of something like that to make the form changes that I am interested in.

Hopefully another Form expert may be able to shed some light on my aim.

Thanks again

Regards

Alan

There is no option for a document to influence the dialog and Document Message Bar texts displayed by Acrobat.

Hi,

There must be a script that generates the message bar and texts, shame if it cannot be adjusted, it would be nice to be able to include a message as required. The benfits of open source..
