I have created a three page form and am trying to ease filling the form by having the pdf repeat items like "name". This may sound silly but in this one form the "name" field is repeated seven times, is there a way to enter it once and have acrobat fill in the other six times automatically?

Hi GK, I am using Acrobat 9 and when I try the preview i fill in the one name and the next page does not show it. Do I need to save the file or make it global?

Also it names the first page field " Name1[0] " and the second page field as " Name1[1] " I have been looking at "how to" videos and its probably really simple, I just can't figure it out.

If you are using LiveCycle Designer, you need to set the binging to "Global".
Acrobat Standard does not have LiveCycle Designer and has no "Preview" tab.

I believe it was this past Sunday or Monday 01-18-2009 or 01-19-2009. I still have not gotten a usable response to my initial post, can you help? I am a new user and am creating a new document, 7 pages with the same info in repeated fields on repeated pages, is there a naming convention that will allow for one input and multiple outputs?

Go to any of the text files named "Name1" and select the field. On the "Oject" tab you select the "Binding" tab, and change the "Defualt binding" to "Global".
