I'm developping a fillable form. and I need to add a botton to save a copy of the form once it is completed. Also I need to compose the file name of the copy to be saved based on the content of several fields on the form.
How can I do that. Any help will be appreciated.
Note: I don't have problems putting together the fields using java scripts.

I am trying, like many others, to create a savable form. However, I am using AA Pro 7. Is there anyway to extend readers rights using version 7. I might be able to use ver. 8. How can I do it with that program?
Most of the help forums I have found discuss using this option on version 9.

The ability to apply Extended Form Rights for Acrobat was not available until Version 8 Professional. Version 9 Standard now also has thes feature. But you are limited to distributing only 500 copies of an enabled form. Prior to the Extended Rights being available to Acrobat, one needed an Adobe server product and one still needs the server product if you are going to distribute more than 500 copies of the form.

How do I create a fillable form that the a copy can be saved? I have Abobe Live Cycle but cannot figure out this function. Please help

To extend the functionality of Adobe Reader to match that of Acrobat, you must set usage rights for the form using LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES.

Otherwise, I think you need to open the PDF in Acrobat 9 and turn it on - I am just guessing here.
