Hi Ted,

When I used "save as" for my fillable form, I saved it as a pdf file. And after filling the data in the fields and tabbing out, I saw "Save" as an option, and I did click on it. On Acrobat, I used Advanced->>Enable Usage rights in Adobe Reader command. In Reader, the document displays, "Please fill out the form. You can save the data typed into this form." I opened the document in reader 8.0, filled in the fields, saved it, close the document. But when I later re-opened the form, all of the data wss erased. Please help. Thank you

My Product Information:
Reader 8, Windows

Well, we're stumped on this one. Are you sure you're reopening the same file? If indeed you are, try checking another form you enabled in Acrobat and fill out and save from Reader. Something is going on that's not something we can explain. Could be an anomaly with your form or perhaps you Acrobat/Reader installation. Check out some other forms to rule out problems with Acrobat/Reader.

Thank You for all of your help, Ted. I figured out why I couldn't save: I had some text on the master page. I put the text only on the design page, and then I was able to save. I guess having fields/text on the master and on the design pages makes it difficult for the form to save?...

Another possibility is the field binding is set as none. It will be be shown when re-opened file. So, you need to set it to "Normal" or "Globle".
