I have tried enabling a PDF form to allow for saving entered data using Reader, but it isn't working. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.0 I've followed what all the directions say but am unsuccessful. Any clues as to what may be wrong?

What specific directions are you following?
Is this a form you created in LiveCycle Designer (by hitting the Form menu item in Acrobat and choosing Create New Form)? Or is this a form you created in Acrobat? Some people have had trouble with this because they apply Reader Usage Rights in LiveCycle Designer using the Distribute Form commands, then go into Acrobat and apply the Enable Rights again there.
Enabling Reader Usage Rights has to be the last thing you do- any changes made after applying the rights will DIS-able them and require you to apply them again.
