Saving Forms

I've created an expandable dynamic form for crime scene reporting to used by multiple Agents... Is there a way for an Agent to open this form as a template, forcing a new "save" name that would prevent overwriting the original form?

Acrobat Pro 7.0.9, Windows

Unfortunately we don't have a Save as Template option in Acrobat. You can do a couple of things. You can open the file properties and make the file Read Only forcing a user to use Save As when filling out a form. This is the easiest way to work around the problem.

Another way is to save the form to the Templates folder in Acrobat where the Secure PDF file templates are saved. The end users would all need to save the form to the same folder and then open Secure task button and Choose Create Security Envelope.
