I am using Abobe Acrobat Pro and is there any way to save a partically completed interactive form? For individuals who are completing the form, they may not have the time to complete the whole form in one sitting. Individuals who have received the test are also having difficulties with the submit button and it not functioning....Any suggestions?

Any user with Acrobat can locally save a PDF form.

If you are distributing the form to users with only Reader, then the form will need to have "Extended Reader Rights" applied to the form before they can save the form.

If the form has been Reader-extended via Acrobat to permit local saves, users with Adobe Reader can save a copy at any stage in their workflow. Users with Acrobat can do that to any PDF form, no special permissions needed.

How are the changes made in order to allow readers to save the pdf to complete later? I used LiveCycle to create the form.

Open the saved PDF form in Acrobat.

For versions before X, look under the Advanced menu option for "Enable Extended Rights".
For Acrobat X, use "File => Save As => Extended Rights".
