saving a secured form once it has been filled in by user

I have been able to secure a form that I made. However, I would like for the people that receive this form to be able to fill it in and save it so that they can continue to work on it later.

Is there a way for me to secure the document but allow the receiver to fill it in, print it and also save it to their computer?

I am using Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give to me!

When you set password security on a PDF, you can either set an open password or specific permissions. You'll want to select permissions that "Restrict editing and printing of the document. A password will be required in order to change these permission settings." Under the Changes Allowed pulldown select "Filling in Form Fields and signing existing signature fields".

Thank you so much for your answer!

I must be doing something wrong. I have been doing what you suggested. However, after the form is filled out, it will only allow you to save the form as blank - not with the typed in information.

Any thoughts? I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your help!
