Scripts that stop functioning

Occasionally some of my scripts attached to buttons stop working. So far as I can tell they are scripts that export, reset and import data. Other button scripts that print, save as, search and navigate from one page to another continue to work, and if I close and reopen the form then the temporarily non-functioning scripts work as intended. Is this a common experience?

I write loads of script and I've never had this experience, but then again I didn't update to 9.4.2;)

Are there any errors reported in the console window? importing and exporting data are a protected operations, there could be a security issue.

No errors are reported in the console window. The subject scripts perform exactly as intended except when they stop responding, which I would describe as not irritatingly often, but in the course of using the form throughout a day it might happen once or twice a day. Some of the export-scripted buttons export a limited number of fields rather than all fields in the form.

Did this issue start when you installed the 9.4.2 update, or has it been a problem on other versions of Acrobat?

Although I've owned prior versions of Acrobat, I've never scripted in a prior version and therefore can't give a meaningful answer to your question.
