Shrinking font in Reader 8 Text Fields

Please help me understand why text in a form field is much smaller when opened in Reader 8. Details: A form opened in Acrobat 6 Pro or Reader 6, displays font size approx. 12 point in text fields. The same form opened with Reader 8 displays font in approx. 8 point. The font size property is set to "Auto." Please note that the identical form is being opened in both cases. It appears that Reader 8 is seeing the field size as much larger and therefore shrinking the text to fit. How can I modify Reader 8 to display the larger font as in version 6? Changing the property of all fields to a fixed font is not a desirable solution since there are 45 forms affected with multiple fields per form. I am running Windows XP.
Thanks,
Lewis

Hi Lewis....

Don't know why it's looking different but you can change all of the text fields in one form in one shot at least.

This tip is from Lori DiFurio:

Select "Edit Layout" (or highlight all the fields) then you can change them all to 10pt Helvetica + Blue (or whatever you want) in one shot.
With your text field tool active, do the following:

Edit>Select All>put your cursor on the one "red" text field selected (usually the first text field>Properties (and then make your choice there.)All of the text fields selected will be changed in one swell foop!!

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
