I'm trying to subtract one field from another by using the Simplified Field Notation. The field names are Text5.5.0.0 and Text5.5.1.0. I have tried putting a minus - inbetween the two, but that does not work. How do I get one to subtract from the other?

The problem is that you are confusing Acrobat with the numbers and the dots in your field names. If you change it to Text50-Text55 it will work, or any other field name (w/ no spaces) without using the dots.
