Hi all,

I've been playing around with the Acrobat 9 SDK.
What i'm trying to achieve is the following:
- A user selects 2 or more existing pdf files
- After submission these pdf files get merged into 1 pdf document
- The merged document is streamed to the browser

I dont want to make a 'hard' copy of the merged document, I want to keep the merged document completely in memory.

I have succesfully merged the documents, but I havent found how to keep the merged document in memory and be able do display it to a user.

Can this be done through the SDK?

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,

Wouter

You cannot use Acrobat on a server to do this. Acrobat cannot be licensed for such use and it is not designed to be used in such an environment.

Are there no Adobe licenses to support the merging of documents?
Should I be using a different Adobe product to accomplish this?
