I am creating a PDF timesheet in acrobat x pro, I have made a submit button with a mailto: command attached. The document sends off Ok, but when it is recieved at the other end and opened, the following error comes up "The file you are attempting to open contains comments or form data that are supposed to be placed on. This document cannot be found. blah blah blah"

Now I have tried to save as "reader extended pdf", but nothing seems to work.

I basically want to create a timesheet for myself that I can fill in, then hit the submit button and the whole form and content is sent to my office manager in a PDF format. Then she can copy and paste information I have typed into the form into our accounting software.

I am new to adobe acrobat x, so thats probably half the problem

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 10.1, Windows

You submit a data file, and not the completed PDF (you submit an FDF file; look at the file size, if it is just a few kB, you have the confirmation, a filled out PDF document is at least 100 kB per page). In order to view the data on the receiving end, you will have to have a blank version of the base form on that machine, and you may have to import the data via Import Form Data (or Import Comments).

Hope this can help.
