Submit PDF Forms inside browser

I was wondering anyone can help me.

I designed a pdf form to enable internet users to fill in data. The filled data will be archived in our internal database. I used a httpsubmitbutton. The button works when I opened it in a desktop acrobat reader. However, if the form is opened in a embeded object in browser, it does not work. It seems that the submission didn't go through. Can anyone tell me why and what is the possible solution?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi, I am looking to do exactly the same thing. Submit the data in the form via HTTP submit. Possibly extract it into an XML stream and the submit invokes a URL/Servlet that receives this XML.

Did you find a solution to this? Appreciate it.
Thanks
