Hello Everyone!
I am hoping someone here will be able to help me, I've searched all over to no avail!
I made a document with two Text Fields in it. When I send it to anyone else and they try to edit the text fields it turns into some sort of error message. At first I thought it could be the fonts I was using (Calibri) so I tried using one of the fonts that is listed first (Helvetica) thinking that would help but it doesnt.
When the fields are edited it gives this message (I had to change it around because I couldn't post HTML due to this being my first post but hopefully it gives the gist):
?xml verson 1.0 }{body xfa:APIVersion= Acroform:2.2.4333.0 xfs:spec 2.1 xmlns "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/"
When they edit using something called Nuance PDF, any font works but for some reason Acrobat professional 7 gives them this error, same with reader 7.
Some background info: The document was made in indesign and saved to pdf. The text fields were added in using Acrobat professional 8. When sent around in the office, editing works fine on Macs although I don't have another PC to test it on.
Anyone ever hear of something like this?
Thanks!
Matt
I have no idea why though. It's always nice to spend hours chasing a problem only to find out you caused it with something silly in the first place :)
