Text in text box not visible when printing

We are trying to add text to an existing pdf. We can add the text boxes & see the text but when we print the text is not visible. What setting are we missing. We are using Acrobat 7.0. Thanks!

Is the field visibility set to "visible"? Is the "Document" option in the Print Dialog set to "Document"? Try setting this to "Form Fields Only" and see what happens.

I solved this problem by going into the Print Dialogue (Ctrl+P) and beneath the Properties button, I selected "Documents and Markup" from the drop-down options ("Documents" was the default). I am using XP and Acrobat Professional 7.0.8
