Texts disappear when a field is added

Hi,

I created a PDF from a Word document.
The Word document has a texbox with some texts inside such as "Payment Plan", "Monthly", and "Quarterly".
I opend the PDF with Acrobat Pro 9.0, and added a text field next to "Monthly", then all the texts in the rectangle (which was Word's textbox when in Word format) disappeared.
I tried many times but the same thing happens.
Could you tell me how to solve this problem?

Did you check if the new form field have a coloured (white) background ?

I checked whether the field has a colored background, and it does not.
