Is There a Forms Skin?

Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a skin set for forms made in acrobat (not the life designer - but if life designer has it, please let me know, I'm just learning acrobat, however) that could make the form look better than what my forms look like which are basically a MS Word document with typing and data fields where there is a need for data to be entered.

Nice to have the functionality, but it would really be nice if I could make the form look better (a pretty form) if you will.

So I wondered if there was a skin (to take a word from the iPod set) that I could apply to my forms to make them more visually appealing to my recipients. It would really be great if they had some templates, or if I could create a template myself.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

No, there's nothing like that with either Acrobat or LiveCycle Designer. This is something I've always struggled with as well since I'm not much of a graphic artist. But as you do more of it and get better layout tools, you'll develop a decent style. I've too always found Word to be difficult to work with, so consider something like Adobe InDesign for creating the underlying design. Check out some of the sample forms that folks have entered into the contests here for some ideas.

Thank you. I did look around for where I might locate these contestant examples. I found the contest information, but nothing that showed where the samples are located. Do you know?

Hi bumbles,

Look under the How To menu and you will see AUC Galleries with subsections for PDF Forms, Portfolios, and 3D samples.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
