Unable to fill out form in Reader 9.1

I created a form in Acrobat Professional 8.1 that uses functions. I Enabled Reader Rights right before the final save. The users are unable to fill out the form in Reader 9.1. The fields don't even show up, just the text. Another user is able to fill out the form using Acrobat Standard 8.

I can't figure out what's wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Are they on a Mac? If so, are they really in Reader or just in the built-in viewer?

I use Windows 7. Recently downloaded a form from a website. I am unable to fill the fields. The cursor moves through mouse but key strokes are not recognized. Security settings appear ok. I am using Adobe reader 9.1.Any suggestions? Cannot find a solution in Advanced Acroform tools set.
