Understanding Form Data

Hi there. I've been asked by a client to do up a PDF Form for him that he'll send out to customers. This will be my first attempt. I was wanting to know though if they form is filled in by a customer and emailed back to my client will he be able to read the data? He only has Acrobat Reader installed, will he need Acrobat Professional?

Does the form data come back in as form data only, or does it come back in populated on the form?

Would love some advice.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.1.1, Windows

If you enable usage rights and the filler saves and e-mails the form to your client, your client will get the copy the filler saved (not just the data). Your client will not need professional for this but I don't know about licensing issues with something like that b/c of the usage rights and him being the end recipient of the form in that process.
