I am currently working on modifying the submit form feature of a form. I would like to set it up so that subject of the email submitting the form is populated using data entered into one of the form fields. I believe this could be done with the use of Javascript but not sure. Could someone please guide me on how this could be done.

Thank you,

Linda

Hi lindamelchor,

Thom Parker discusses how to control the subject line of an email in his tutorial at:
http://www.acrobatusers.com/tech_corners/javascript_corner/tips/2006/submitting_data/
Specifically he discusses the Javascipt necessary for email submission with parameters for setting the cc, bcc, subject, and body of the email.

Hope this helps,
Lori

This does not cover creating a subject line from a fillabel text field. I've been trying to do this for some time now.

It professional, networking, technical, graphical, imaging, froms.
