I saw that mentioned on Orlow post - I looked in help menu and couldn't find it. Could someone explain that to me. How do you "reader enable" a pdf form -- Thanks

Reader is just that a reader program. It does not allow commenting, saving forms, or applying signatures. To allow users with Reader perform these task, Adobe has developed a way to enable special rights to a given PDF. These functions are specific for comments, saving forms, or applying signatures. Each of the 3 special rights have different restrictions and application methods. Version 8 of Acrobat can add commenting rights, and form rights for up to 500 users of a form. Adding form rights to a form to be distributed to more than 500 users and adding signature rights requires a special LiveCycle Server product.

Thank you gkaiseril for your response. I have acrobat 8 and LiveCycle. To allow Form usage of over 500 users do I need an additional plug in for LiveCycle. I found the "enable reader" under Advanced tab and experimented.

My real obstacle is that even after carefully following the instructions on how to create a form for a Web site the submit button never activates or does anything -- the print button will start the print function but submit does nothing. Any suggestions?
