I would just like some clarification about something that was posted. In Abode Pro 8.0 there is a feature to enable commenting, filling in form fields, saving the form with data contained and email the form with data contained. I ask for clarification because we have been having trouble with the file being sent as only .xml and not as .PDF (with the data contained in the form). The users are filling in and sending the form using Abode Reader 7.0, they do not have professional and the forms have been designed using Adobe Designer 7.0

My Product Information:
Reader 7, Windows

It doesn't matter what version of (Abode) the form originally came from, Acrobat 8 will enable the form for form filling and saving (and emailing) in Reader 7 & 8.LiveCycle Forms are a little different in that they cannot be enabled for commenting.\

I don't think this answered Amanda's question. It was about XML vs. PDF files, which is an entirely different technology. I don't blame her for seeing this as problematic. XML translation takes a lot more technical expertise. The .xml file needs to be seamlessly converted to .pdf/with the same xml data from Adobe Designer 7. Is this right, Amanda?
