Accesing fillable forms with Adobe Reader 8

I have a form developed with Designer 8 which has multiples drop-down list boxes and standard buttons defined with java scripts and a data connection to an Access database. When I try to view this form in Adobe Reader 8 those java-scripted boxes and buttons aren't able to display the data when you execute them. Does Adobe Reader 8 has the capability of interpreting Java Scripts and displaying data from a data connection?

Have you tried certifying the form (see Acrobat Help) and adding saving rights?
