Acrobat - merging pdfs - one dynamic, one static

I created a nice dynamic form using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

We open the form in Adobe Acrobat 9.1.3 and Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader so that end-users have the ability to save their forms with their entered data.

Now I have merge a special "last" page which was created in Word and printed to AdobePDF. It is a static form.

When I attempt to merge the static page to the dynamic pdf I receive an error message:
Adobe XML forms cannot be merged.

This is a HUGE Block for me!!

Does anyone know of a way for me to enable the merging of these two forms?

The form must be available for other users to enter data into, so I cannot save it back as a static form.

HELP!!

Marla

Save the second file as a dynamic form.

XFA-forms generally can't be merged together with other files by Acrobat, because they are completely different to static PDF's.
But you can attach your static file to the XFA-form or design a PDF Portfolio.
