adding third-party barcode control to Designer

Hi,

I developed forms with PDF417 barcodes. I need to replace the barcodes with third-party barcode control (long story)! I can get the barcode source code in C++, java, etc. Is that possible?

Hi Amin, the source to this object is not available.

In regards to the functionality of the barcode itself, are you looking at changing the data in the barcode during the filling of the form or is the data static?

If the data is static then no additional licensing is required and the data in the barcode should be plain-text (with compression turned off). It is only when you require the barcode to be dynamic that additional licenses are required.

Thank you Lee, great info.

We have decided to move the forms to web based forms and use Barcode Controls currently available in the market. Seems to be easier and cheaper.
