Adobe reader javascript compatibility

I have created an interactive form using the Adobe LiveCycle Designer. I have added a button by clicking to attach a file.With adobe Acrobat the javascript works fine but in Adobe Reader 8.0 not.Is there anyway to create such script that could function in Adobe reader?

Yes, you need to purchase the LiveCycle Rights Enabling server so that you can apply "Embedding" rights to the form. There is no other way to embed a file into a PDF in Reader.
