I recently got Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and Livecycle Designer 8.0 at my job. I am in charge of converting all our on-line forms to pdf. However, I am not fully aware of all the potentials the program has to offer. Just the basic knowledge and maybe a little bit more.
So my question is, am I jumping the gun in creating all these forms? I will be attending a class, as soon as I can find one, to learn more. I just don't want to find out that I made all these forms and then have to re-make them in order to use "advance" options. (i.e., sumit/email button, auto expanding of fields, etc.)
Sorry for the novel...Thanks for your time!
Attending a class is a great start. Be certain your instructor is offering instruction on forms creation in Adobe Designer and the instrcutor is well versed in using the program.
In addition, you'll find much help on Adobe's Web site. Use the Help menu commands to open Web pages where you can find tips and methods in using Designer.
Use the Help guide in Desinger and become completely familiar with what is covered in the document.
Additionally, look over the samples installed with Designer and resident on your computer.
It will take some time to become fluent in Designer. However, once you do master the program, you'll be able to create some very impressive forms.
