Hi,

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm a newbie with LiveCycle Designer ES (Acrobat Pro 9) and have searched the forum for a way to have users submit form data anonymously. Unfortunately, I do not have a web server so am I correct that email is the only other way to submit data? If so, then there's no way to do this anonymously, as the sender's email address would show.

Is this correct? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dave

You can look into using Acrobat.com to distribute the form and collect responses. You can set it up so that the recipients can respond anonymously.

Here's some more info: http://layersmagazine.com/distributing-forms-with-acrobatcom.php

and you should be able to find more here.

Thanks. Yes, I looked at that option, but forgot to mention it in my OP. I wonder about the security of the information passed through adobe's portal. Maybe it's no better or worse than emailing or http/ftp submittal, but at least it solves the anonymity part.

Yes, it would be nice if we knew more details about the method of data submission and retrieval with respect to Acrobat.com. Transmitting data securely has been simple for some time now. It couldn't be worse than email.
