Backwards Compatible Form

I created a form using LifeCycle Designer v8.0 but it is not backwards compatible with Acrobat v6. It is a form that a user can fill out and print. The tabbing sequence is messed up, I cannot "check" check boxes, and the jpeg logo disappears in earlier versions. How do I make the form backwards compatible? Please help!

Don't use LiveCycle designer. Use an AcroForm.
