Hi there,

I have the need of fullfilling a form, block all the fields and mailto: it.
I've found this TOPIC:

that have helped me a lot,

BUT, it blocks the PDF fields but when I save it, when I reopen it the fields are not blocked anymore.

1st of all, I create the PDF with LC8, then I open it with Acrobat 9, I go to "Advanced/Extended Features in Adobe reader", I click on "Save Now" and I create a new PDF file but this case is "able to be saved" instead of been "not able to saved" changes.

But, anyway, it does not work. I need to be able to full fill the PDF fields, to block them up and to save the file. Then when I open the PDF has to be all the fields blocked.

Anyone knows how to help me out?

More information:
The form has to be fullfilled, then you click on a button (just one) in order to:

validate fields (2 make sure they are fullfilled)
block fields (in order to not be able to change the data fullfilled anymore)
submit mailto: (in order to send the PDF, not editable, by email)

Then, what we need is to receive an email with the PDF file attached and this PDF has to have no editable fields! so I don't need anyone can changes what it is in there. So, this is not really a SAVE.

Please, any suggestions in order to help me out?
