Calculations in LifeCycle not showing

Greetings super heroes.

I am a first time user of Adobe LifeCycle and first time user of this forum.

I created a nice looking form in adobe acrobat and can clearly see the values.

However, when I converted the acrobat to lifecycle, the values don't show anymore.

Instead, I only see this */ in front and back. This looks like comments.

Can you please advise what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks a lot.

LiveCycle Designer and Acrobat Forms are based on different technology and use a different syntax in their calculations, so when one converts an Acrobat form to LiveCycle Designer, the Acrobat form's JavaScript is commented out and one has to review each calculation and decide if the code will work or the code needs to be modified or completely rewritten.

This is documented in LiveCycle Designer's scripting documentation.

Thank you very much sir for your response. It is indeed appreciated.

How do I access the javascript the lifecycle designer's Javascript?

Also, is it even necessary to migrate from pdf to lifecycle?

> Also, is it even necessary to migrate from pdf to lifecycle?I was going to ask you that, since you had the form working in Acrobat. What are your reasons for using LiveCycle Designer?
