Centering an image in an image field

I do not know how to center an image in an image field. When I created an image field in LiveCycle Designer, I selected in the "object" pallet, "field", "sizing" - scale image proportionally

I then selected the paragraph alignment to "center". But when I preview or launch in Reader or Acrobat Pro, the image is left aligned.

How do I set the field to center an image in the image field?

I tried the same thing - using the 'Scale Proportionally'. The image will scale itself inside your image object. If the botton is too short, the image will 'left justify', if the right edge is too short, it will 'top justify'. This really isn't justifying - the image is sizing itself based on edge criteria, so that it always remains proportional to it's original size. If you need the image 'centered', move the left and bottom edges until the whitespace disappears. Else, you could change the sizing to 'Scale Image to Fit Rectangle', and change the size of the image object to whatever size suits your needs.

Not sure if this really answered your question, but it may be some things to try and play with. Post back if you are still having problems.
