I am new to LiveCycle (v8) and am curious how I make a check box group.

I read the tutorial here http://www.acrobatusers.com/tutorials/2007/js_radio_check_box/ , but couldn't even follow that as I couldn't create a radio button list group.

Check Box Group or Radio Button Group?

Radio Button can have checkmarks.

To make a radio button group select all the radios you want in a group and right click them.

Left Click the Wrap in New Radio Button Group.

If you would want them to appear like check boxes

Under the Field Tab, Apperance select Square.
Under the Button Style Hit Check.

Checkboxes can only be wrapped in a subform by doing the same thing, but the option wrap in new radio button will be wrap in a new subform or something similar to that.

A radio button group that appears as check box's should be fine.

I added three radio buttons to my page (imported pdf), right clicked them, and wrap in subform was greyed out.

What am I missing here?

How did you add your radio buttons? Did you drag them from your library?

Make sure you have the radio buttons selected rclick wrap in new radio button group.

I selected radio button from the library and dragged it onto the page (repeated two more times).

Then I selected all three radio buttons, right click, then I see wrap in subform and unwrap in subform (but they are greyed out) - no wrap in new radio button group.

As I've playing around I've noticed that 1 or 2 buttons will show that option. So come it won't let me do all three?

Aahh, ok I see.

The first three I add are already in the same group.

Then the 4th radio button I add needs to be wrapped in a new radio button group, then 2 more buttons added to that group.

Thanks,
