If I check a "Yes" box in a fillable form, I want the check mark to come off the "No" box and turn on in the "Yes". Basically so there's only one choice and the Yes/No or the 1/2/3 boxes can't be checked at the same time.

For mutually exclusive choices most people use radio buttons which automatically take on mutual exclusivity when they are created. But you can certainly have check boxes that will act like radio buttons.
